Cart broken? How to fix it:
Step 1: If you put stuff in your cart but when you go to the cart, it looks all empty like this:
Step 2: Click the Cookie icon in the bottom left corner of your screen (color may vary):
Clicking the Cookie icon will open your Cookie Banner (color may vary).
In the Cookie Banner, you can either click Accept All or ⚙️ Show Details. Clicking Accept All will fix the problem, but if you want to get more granular with your cookie settings, you can click Show Details.
Step 3: Accept any cookies called Necessary, Performance, or Functionality (if they’re applicable, they’ll show up for you).
Step 4: Click the Save and Close button.
Beware: Declining all cookies might break the website for you
Usually, the Performance and Functionality cookies have been declined if you’re seeing a BLANK cart page. That’s because cookies are like short-term memory for websites. Cookies help the website remember that you clicked “Add to cart” on a product’s page, so that when you get to the cart, you see the item there, ready for checkout. These same cookies also allow you to play videos and audio on my website.
If your shopping cart is NOT showing the items you added to your cart, you’ll need to follow the steps described above.
Don’t worry: Cookies will not negatively affect your internet speed. And I’m not following you all around the internet; trust me, I have enough other things on my to-do list. If you don’t want to keep the cookies after you check out, you’re welcome to clear your browser’s cookies — but remember that you’ll need to turn them back on when you revisit this website and want to buy something again in the future.
Troubleshooting video
🍪 This video shows how the CART BREAKS if you decline Performance and Functionality cookies — and how to fix it. The website needs to use cookies to remember what you wanted to buy. No cookies, no checkout. In fact, without cookies, this video won’t play for you either. The website also needs those same cookies to play videos and audio. How ironic. 🍪
